Effective October 2026

Push for Gold records your sessions on your iPhone. Nothing you record leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. We receive an identifier from that provider and, if you allow it, your name and email. We do not receive or store a password. We use your email only to keep your account secure; it is never shown to other athletes.

What you share

When an activity is shared, your chosen audience can open the same read-only activity details as you: title, notes, sport, saved chair/setup, measurements, personal bests, coaching takeaways, charts, comparisons, heart rate, exact start time, photos, full court/GPS paths and 3D replay. We store the derived activity and replay readings needed for those screens. Editing, deletion, exports and raw diagnostic files remain private; raw AirPod samples and wheel-sensor notifications are not uploaded by the community feature.

Optional tennis video stays on your iPhone and is never uploaded. If you use it, a shared tennis activity also includes insights worked out from the video: shot counts, ball speeds, where balls landed, serve statistics and movement suggestions. It never includes the video, pictures from it or anyone's identity.

  • Each activity has a visibility: Everyone, Followers or Only you. Your default is Followers.
  • Your audience sees the full recorded GPS route, including its start and finish. A wheel-derived court path has no geographic location.
  • Heart rate, speed and exact start time are included for your chosen audience. Choose Only you to keep the entire activity private.
  • Your classification is visible only to you unless you choose otherwise.
  • Photos are re-encoded on your phone and stripped of location and camera metadata.

Your profile

Your name, username and photo are visible to signed-in Push for Gold athletes. Bio, sports, totals, chairs and clubs follow your privacy settings. A private account requires your approval for new followers. You can hide yourself from search and suggestions.

Under 18

Athletes under 18 start with a private account, are not shown in search or suggestions, and only followers can comment.

Where data is stored

Shared content is stored in Microsoft Azure data centres in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos are stored privately and served through short-lived links.

Deleting your data

Delete any activity, comment or photo at any time. Delete your whole account in the app under You → Account & privacy → Delete account; this permanently removes your profile, activities, photos, comments, kudos and club memberships.

What we never do

  • Sell your data or show advertising.
  • Share your activities with third parties.
  • Infer or publish anything about your health or impairment.

Contact

Report any athlete, activity, comment, club or post from its menu in the app. Reports are private and reviewed.
