What should I review after a session?
Start with one takeaway. Push for Gold records movement from a sensor on each rear wheel, then gives you feedback in its iPhone app. The takeaways cover turning, starts and speed, pushing, movement rhythm and, with a court setup, court position. Pushes are inferred from wheel acceleration.
Open a takeaway to see the readings and a drill. You can replay the moments behind it and compare it with your recent sessions. The app describes how the chair moved. Strokes and shot choices still need your own review or a coach watching you play.
Compare turns towards each side
Look at how quickly you turned towards your racquet side compared with the other side, then how soon you moved away. A quick turn and a quick exit are separate parts of the movement. Reviewing them together gives you a specific question to take into your next practice.
Choose the turning drill in your takeaway. On your next recorded session, check that same takeaway and its readings to see what changed.
Look at starts from a stop
Starts and speed shows how you got moving again. Use your usual start and your best start to understand the session; one fast moment does not describe every start in a match.
For a repeatable practice, choose a short court route and record it again in a later session. Keep the route and chair setup the same so you have a useful comparison.
Review where you spent time on court
With a court setup, the court map shows an estimated path and where you spent time. You can review your time on each side and your position around the baseline. The map estimates position from the wheels; it does not locate the ball or judge a shot.
Use the map to form a question, such as whether you returned to the middle after moving wide. Bring that question to your next practice or discuss it with your coach.
Keep a record you can discuss
Record practices and matches separately, then compare sessions with similar play. Share an activity with your followers so a coach or teammate can see the same takeaways and comment on the session.
